Dancin' in Circles - Joanne by Lady Gaga (Acoustic Cover)
16:38When Gaga's new album #Joanne was released I had to listen to it immediately because I heard the media saying it was way different from what she's done before.
In my opinion this is the best album of her career. I'm really impressed with the musical variety.
The album covers country, folk, pop and kind of rock'n'roll gerne's. You can tell that it is something really personal for her.
For the people who were fans from the very beginning it might be confusing that she's going into a different direction now. Some may be disappointed. But I think that's what she's done her entire career. She started out as this blonde disco chick with her pop debut album "Fame" which was extended into "The Fame Monster". Then praised us with her new appearance in her second album "Born This Way". She focused a lot on fashion and encouraged everyone to embrace who they are. Her controversial appearances dressed in meat-dresses and Kermit-The-Frog-Tops kept her in the media for a long time. She recreated herself again for her third album "Artpop". This album was really electronic and not the usual kind of pop music she made before. But still, it was pop. But with this album she proofs that her ability to make good music is undeniable.
Before she took the world as Lady Gaga, she took the stages as Stefani Germanotta in nightclubs in New York City with her EP "Red an Blue". When I heard "Joanne" it reminded me of her older music and I must say I really like it. It's raw, it's real.
I think this is the kind of music she's always wanted to make. But to have an internationally successful career you have to go with the mainstream. That's what she did in the beginning. She grew from time to time and expressed herself on her way.
Now she's at a point where she can do whatever she desires. I mean hey, she's Lady Gaga.
